The Churyo Sato Gallery opened in 1990, made possible only by the donation of bronze sculptures and sketches done by SATO Churyo himself, as well as works of art he has collected.

The Churyo Sato Gallery exhibit can be viewed with the ticket for the permanent collection exhibition or for the special exhibition. Tickets can be purchased at the reception desk in this entrance hall.

This is a multipurpose hall equip with various AV and exhibition facilities. Lectures are also held here as well as scheduled high-vision screenings.

The Kenmin Gallery

The Kenmin Gallery (Miyagi prefectural People's Gallery) is a gallery for rent to display works that are mainly created for the purpose of art. It can be used for individual or group exhibits. The entrance hall serves as an entrance both to the two exhibition rooms. It also serves as a place for visitors to rest. Both exhibition rooms have a reception desk.

The Kenmin Gallery (Miyagi prefectural People's Gallery) is made up of two rooms, each having an area of about 250m2.
