About Using the Museum

9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Admission until 4:30 p.m.)

CLOSED

1) On Mondays except national holidays. In this case, the museum closes on the next Tuesday.

ADMISSION

Exhibition from the Permanent Collection (Including the Churyo Sato Gallery)

Adults: 300 yen
Students: 150 yen
Special discount rate is available to groups of twenty or more.

General Admission free on the following days:
May 5 and 18, the 3rd Monday of September, the last Saturday of October and the following day, and November 3

Special Exhibition - Varies

The studios, children's workshop, library, restaurant and bookshop are open to the public.

Kenmin Gallery rental fee

Galleries 1 and 2: 13,100 yen per day, minimum rental period - one week.

Rental applications are accepted from one year in advance at the museum's administration office.
